Cats and mice: Yes, we have a long relationship. We like to chase and eat them, and the mice like to run away from us. But we cats usually outsmart them, and make a tasty meal out of these critters! Well, most of the time we outsmart the mice.

So a kitty, named Mr. Maxwell, eats at his favorite restaurant, “The Paw and Claw.” The waiter brings him a live, raw mouse on a piece of toast….yummy. But the mouse starts talking and comes up with trick after trick to delay being eaten by Mr. Maxwell. (Note to all cats: Beware of talking mice.)

Finally, the mouse tricks Mr. Maxwell to chop off his own tail. Mr. Maxwell howls out in pain, and in the chaos, the mouse frees all the other mice that live in the restaurant.

I did not like this story at all. There wasn’t an ounce of truth…it’s all make believe.   No self-respecting cat would fall for this kind of trickery!
